there are shortages.. sany hasnt even started production that equals bad news for sony because no br drive = no ps3, as for xbox they hd addon isnt needed so you can still play games.
im guessing it will be trash... microsoft just wants this so that they can sell the system in japan by saying hey look we got a square-enix game when really its not its just a crappy no-name company working on it and square slapping its name on. aside from that if i glanced at the article close enough i think it said it was a shooter? why the hell do we need another? we got halo and gears.
its all about economics... it would simply have been stupid for them to release it only on one platform when they have all the pc users that will buy it and the 5 million plus 360 owners who will buy it. just shows that when people said it was running on something other than a ps3 at e3 they were right.
i was kinda worried cuz some one said thier was bad probs with buildings going missing and glitches up the a$$ but... just sony fanboys sad that they dont have anything to play, the demo was very good i talked my roommate into picking it up and i said id get gta when it came out.

if anything it wil be on pc/360 via live anywhere but i highly doubt it will come out on the ps3 for a couple reasons, the biggest being there is no ps3 online as of yet and it will be a long time before sony gets it right and woking how it should be. second its easy to port over pc titles to the 360 however the p3s is a nightmare. so it would just make sence that blizzard would take the lower cost easy road and just do some control tweaking and port it to the 360 and thier very mature online...

its shame that guild wars does a new explansion every 6 months... and has free online play and eaxh expansion can be used alone with out a need to buy the ones you dont want... stupid blizzard has goin down the sh1tter since the frenchies baught them and all thier talent left to go elsewhere.
commecialized in 18/24 months so figure another ~5 years to be main stream... br and hd are dead for sure no one in thier right mind would buy into something relating to movies if in 5 year they would have to buy thier collection AGAIN. good thing ms didnt waist thier money and our by forcing us to buy a non-standard format.
also i would like to point out this would be a market share loss for sony... so i am in no way praising them i simply know that milions of fanboys will refuse to see that they are spending an extra $200 for exactly the same gaming experiance (notice i said gaming... not movie watching) also as a side note to that millions more will see outside of thier fanboyish ways and buy a 360 and wii and have 2 systems for the price of one and in doing so have 2 time that games to play.
hello every one i would just like to announce that i decided i would now be an official analyst. here is my prediction. sony = 40% market share, microsoft 35% marketshare, nintendo 25% marketshare. i think this is safe to safe that i am dead on since i seem to know 100 times more than this bung fukler analyst.
p.s. i am a x360 owner, and i do not intend on getting a ps3 but i do plan on getting a wii if simply for zelda and the back compat all the way to nes.

yes you are right... but gta4 on the 360 will look EXACTL like the ps3 version except all the jaggies will be gone cuz the 360 can do AA, AND it will exclusive downloadable content for the 360 only... sux to be you gametime. pay $200 more for a system that does LESS game wise.
it is not the old ps2 version... you cant magically emulate NEW code to add the ability to have more cars on track... and as a side note... games like halo 2 are already emulated in upscaled graphics so this is nothing new and has been around since the launch of the 360... sorry again you had to wait a year for something that has been availble for so long now... you do have my pity.
